Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Fulltime Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team as a Single Nurse Health Center Manager RN. Our clinic is located in Thousand Oaks, CA.
About the role:
- Great schedule the role is Monday through Friday Day Shift (7:30am-4:00pm). No weekend work and 10 paid Holidays!
- This nurse will support an occupational health clinic located within a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus. The site is comprised of approximately 500+ (and growing) employees. The environment is professional, collaborative, and focused on improving work processes that ensure worker health and safety. This position will support the Occupational Health programs, workers compensation case management, and surveillance programs.
- In addition, the role supports site emergency preparedness programs in conjunction with the local Environments, Health & Safety (EHS) team, site Security, and Medical Emergency Response team.
- Relatable experience in the medical field in occupational health, ambulatory care, community health clinic nursing, hospital employee health or school nursing is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the management of a small sized Occupational Health Clinic.
- Operates as site manager and patient care nurse.
- Dedicated to patient care and overall responsibility for the management of the program.
- Workers’ compensation case management.
- Medical surveillance program.
- Emergency response.
- Acute care.
- Works collaboratively with the site EHS, Security, Emergency response team.
- Coordinate with HR and other stakeholders.
- Operates as a licensed Registered Nurse and adheres to state guidelines.
- Management Duties include:
- Staff training and management
- Keeping clinic stocked
- Budget management
- Performance reviews and development
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Current license as a RN in practicing state- California.
- Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field.
- 2 – 3 years’ management experience.
- Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent nursing experience.
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), CCM, CM and experience in worker’s compensation.
- Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
- Excellent Communication skills.

For individuals living in California only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California compensation is $108,000 - $135,000. Please note, this is a general guideline and your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
