Responsibilities
Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager
Requisition Number 34164 Job Location Palmdale, CaliforniaAs a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Palmdale, CA. The scheduled hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:00a – 4:30p.
This position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus!
Essential Functions:
- Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
- Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of exempt or non-exempt RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff).
- Allocates time (15-50%) to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, staffing models, and compliance with regulations.
- Manages budgets, expenses, supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Serves as infection control lead and collaborates on quality initiatives.
- Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.
- Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions.
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Protects patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Follows established company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Current license as a RN or NP/PA in state of practice.
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
- Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field.
- 2 – 3 years of management experience.
- Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
