Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional
Requisition Number 41134 Job Location Mesa, ArizonaAs a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Mesa, AZ. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 8AM - 4:30PM
- Make a meaningful impact: Provide one-on-one counseling for employees experiencing workplace stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other behavioral health concerns while building creative, accessible programs that meet members where they are—including brief 15–30 minute check-in sessions for busy call center employees.
- Drive employee wellbeing: Serve as the Wellbeing Ambassador by leading onsite engagement activities, promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, connecting employees to available resources, and collaborating with the employers Benefits to deliver measurable wellbeing initiatives.
- Engage and educate: Develop and present webinars, wellness presentations, and educational materials while proactively engaging employees throughout the site, promoting Premise Health services, and fostering a culture of wellbeing through creative outreach and relationship building.
- Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
- Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
- Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
- Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
- Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
- Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
- Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
- Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
- Enters data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
- Licensed as a mental health clinicians as per state requirements: examples include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
- LMSW is not accepted across states.
- For NY ONLY, LCSW, LMHC-D and LMFT-D are accepted.
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc..
- Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
- Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
- Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
- Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.
