Massage Therapist

As a Part Time Massage Therapist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in El Segundo, CA. The scheduled hours are 16 hours per week; Tuesday and Thursday 9-5.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform medical and traditional massage based on the members needs
  • Treat specific areas of injury, pain, systemic discomfort, decreased range of motion, and neurological issues from acute or chronic conditions
  • Evaluates conditions, formulates treatment plan, and collaborates with providers when performing medical massage
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Documentation of state license/registration (e.g. copy of actual license, verification of license, or email including license number as applicable); CA - California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) certification OR the following states require National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) in lieu of state license: KS, MN, VT, WY.
  • Professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and/or the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) preferred
  • Current CPR certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or Basic Life Support for community/lay responder required
  • Continuing education in advanced neuromuscular and myofascial techniques preferred
  • Demonstrate a high level of massage proficiency, with a minimum of one year massage therapy work experience

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.02 - $43.78 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
