About the role: The Vice President (VP) of Data Strategy Effectiveness will be responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimization of the company’s strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This leader will work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and will oversee efforts to improve operational effectiveness across all functions. The role will require a strong focus on driving innovation, improving business processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the creation and execution of the company’s long-term strategic vision.
- Identify new growth opportunities, business models, and markets in alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to set priorities, define success metrics, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and assess the competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies to guide strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across the organization.
- Analyze current business processes and use cases to identify areas for expand growth, streamline operations and monetization.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and implement best practices for cross-functional collaboration and operational performance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of processes that drive high-quality execution and consistency.
- Partner with the senior leadership team to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication across all departments.
- Lead the integration of strategy into day-to-day operations to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Lead the change management efforts for major organizational transformations, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies.
- Champion a mindset of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and embracing new ways of working.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and operational assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are on track and within budget.
- Evaluate and track the financial impact of strategic and operational changes, ensuring return on investment (ROI).
- Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
- Build and lead a high-performing team within the Strategy & Operating Effectiveness function.
- Mentor and develop talent across the organization to create a sustainable pipeline of future leaders.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Operations, or a related field.
- MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting
- Proven track record of driving organizational change and delivering measurable improvements in operational performance.
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, financial oversight, and process optimization.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex strategies to stakeholders.
- Expertise in change management and driving business transformation.
- Deep understanding of operational metrics and performance improvement strategies.

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington and New York State compensation is $150,000 - $225,000 with eligible bonus opportunity.
