The Senior Compliance Analyst oversees data privacy program development, implementation, and monitoring, manages planning and tracking, and ensures completion of assigned tasks. This role designs operational workflows that comply with company policies.  


This is a Full Time, hybrid, Senior Compliance Analyst role located in Brentwood, TN.


What You'll Do

  • Serves as Compliance Project Manager, overseeing compliance projects from initiation to completion and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of all tasks.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to coordinate priorities, ensure compliance, and address obstacles.
  • Serves as the main contact for the data sharing intake program, review requests, and work with Operations to ensure each solution complies with legal and privacy regulations.
  • Drafts legal agreements for data sharing requests as needed.
  • Reviews and approves data shares to ensure compliance with privacy policies. 
  • Works with others to create solutions for compliance issues.
  • Develops procedures and resource guides to serve as training materials.
  • Conducts a thorough review of clinical and operational procedures to ensure that compliance measures and privacy safeguards are consistently incorporated.
  • Performs privacy audits and develops recommendations to improve business processes, controls, efficiencies, and effectiveness to ensure that Premise is following applicable regulations.
  • Performs quality assurance reviews; makes recommendations for quality assurance and improvement programs.
  • Conducts investigations to identify privacy issues and establish a comprehensive remediation plan.
  • Interviews Premise workforce members as needed to investigate an occurrence or for quality assurance of a process.
  • Performs risk assessment to determine the root cause and ensure procedures and training material addresses root cause to prevent further loss of protected health information.
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding appropriate uses and disclosures of Protected Health Information (PHI); ensures consistent application of policies in response to such inquiries and consistent documentation of such requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management experience desired
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations
  • Knowledgeable in information systems
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects, work autonomously, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate with considerable initiative, applying an important level of discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to analyze and document processes and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and maturity.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team fosters inclusivity and facilitates clear communication among all members.
  • Ambulatory office experience desired
