The Manager of Infrastructure Systems oversees daily operations and support of enterprise infrastructure systems across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role ensures stable, secure, and high‑performing services across server, storage, virtualization, cloud, directory services, Citrix, disaster recovery, data center operations, certificate management, and domain services. The manager provides hands‑on technical leadership and team oversight to maintain availability, reliability, and operational excellence.
This is a Full Time, hybrid, Infrastructure Systems Manager role located in Brentwood, TN.
What You'll Do
- Manages day‑to‑day operations of servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure systems.
- Supervises Systems Engineers, including assigning work, monitoring performance, coaching, and developing team capabilities.
- Oversee administration of Directory Services (AD/Azure AD), including identity lifecycle, group policy, and authentication services.
- Manages server virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper‑V.
- Oversees deployment, monitoring, and optimization of Cloud (IaaS) workloads.
- Provides leadership and oversight for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments including updates and troubleshooting.
- Ensures proper operation, monitoring, and documentation of backup and restore technologies.
- Coordinates Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and documentation updates.
- Supports data center operations including hardware lifecycle and capacity management.
- Oversees certificate lifecycle management, ensuring timely renewals and automation.
- Manages domain registration and DNS operations.
- Collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
- Maintains infrastructure documentation including runbooks and configurations.
- Drives process improvements and automation initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure systems.
- 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Hands‑on experience with AD/Azure AD, virtualization, cloud IaaS, backup/restore, DR, Citrix, data centers, certificates, DNS.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff.
- Experience in mission‑critical environments.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an Annual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performance.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will be included in the company's Open Time Off plan and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
