The Business Analytics Consultant supports the strategy, development, and execution of analytics capabilities that enable and scale Premise Health’s product organization. In this role, you are responsible for transforming how analytics informs product strategy, development, performance management, and growth. You serve as the primary bridge between Product, Data & Insights, and Technology teams, ensuring all products and sub-products are supported by scalable, reliable, and actionable analytics to enable effective decision-making across the product lifecycle. You play a critical role in advancing the organization’s ability to identify and validate new product opportunities, define and measure product success, deliver integrated reporting across systems such as Epic and third-party vendors, and drive consistent, data-informed decisions across the product portfolio.


This is a full time, remote Business Analytics Consultant role.


What You'll Do

Product Analytics Strategy & Capability Development:

Defines and leads the product analytics strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and supporting both new product development and optimization of existing offerings.

Establishes scalable analytics frameworks, including standardized product success metrics, ROI methodologies, and attribution models in partnership with Data Science to enable consistent, confident decision-making.

Product Lifecycle Analytics:

Partners with product leadership to embed analytics throughout the product lifecycle, identifying market opportunities, validating product structure, pricing, and value propositions using data insights.

Ensures analytics is incorporated early in product development with clearly defined KPIs and success metrics to enable effective design, iteration, and measurable outcomes.

Analytics Solutions & Tooling:

Oversees the design and delivery of standardized, scalable analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support product performance tracking and decision-making.

Ensures integration of data from core systems (e.g., Epic, claims, third-party vendors) to provide a unified and reliable view of product performance.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution:

Partners across Product, Data & Insights, and application development teams to align product design, system configuration, data capture, and reporting logic.

Establishes processes that improve coordination, transparency, and execution, ensuring analytics requirements are consistently incorporated into product and system development.

Product Performance Management & Growth Analytics:

Partners with product owners and commercial teams to monitor performance, identify drivers of margin, utilization, and outcomes, and develop actionable recommendations while supporting growth through client targeting, portfolio gap identification, and value positioning.


What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related field. 

10+ years of experience in analytics, product analytics, or strategy.

Experience in healthcare strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience building analytics capabilities and frameworks from the ground up

Strong product analytics and business strategy mindset, with demonstrated experience building analytics capabilities and frameworks from the ground up 

Deep understanding of ROI methodologies and performance measurement frameworks 

Ability to operate effectively across strategy, execution, and stakeholder alignment 

Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed, highly collaborative environment 

Strong communication skills and executive presence, with regular engagement with senior product and analytics leadership

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. 


For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
