About the role:  The AVP of Business Analytics will be the product owner of a critical function that enables Premise to be a market leader in the direct healthcare industry. This senior leader will develop a business relationship governance model and be responsible for delivering insights to internal client operations personnel and external clients to articulate Premise’s value proposition. To be successful, the AVP of Business Analytics will work within the overall Data and Insights org to ensure delivery of key insights objectives partnering closely with business teams.


Essential Functions:

Define the strategy and governance process for delivering overall insights across key business and analytics organizations

Maintain ownership of executing this process for client reporting that ensures Premise is delivering a clear illustration of the value and affordability brought

Identify and implement tools, technology, and processes that facilitate the delivery of best in class client reporting

Continually assess the performance of the client reporting product and make necessary changes to ensure it remains a competitive advantage

  • Document and establish internal processes to enhance the value delivery through external client operations personnel
  • Partner with existing inter-departmental analyst to provide training and expertise on insight generation and value delivery
  • Partner with Data Product organization to ensure data capabilities being deployed will meet the objectives of the business at the speed necessary to win in the market
  • Partner with platform engineering to ensure overall platform architecture meets the needs of the insight’s organization
  • Leverage AI and analytics industry insights to inform analytics architecture on requirements to compete in the marketplace
  • Provide regular updates on performance related metrics to include client satisfaction, development timelines, and others deemed appropriate to senior leadership 
  • Garner a deep understanding of current products and how they are evolving while working with other department leaders to understand new products and services and the ramifications to client reporting
  • Engage team to support overall cultural goals of the company


Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 12 years work experience in healthcare and/or relevant field to the role
  • Successful interaction with clients and client facing stakeholders
  • At least 10 years work experience in strategic and consultative relationships
  • Experience interpreting business questions and data, leading analytical efforts and delivering outcomes to a variety of stakeholders


Preferred Experience: 

  • A strong command and understanding of presentation techniques and how to convey concepts, information, and data in a clear and concise manner
  • Deep understanding of business intelligence tools and processes that support analytical functions
  • Must be a strategic thinker, proactive, possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional, matrix environment with high level of problem-solving skills with limited supervision 
  • Strong written and verbal communicational skills and ability to build successful relationships with internal teams; this role demands clear and concise communication 
  • Ability to think creatively and utilize all available resources to deliver quality client facing analytics 
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities and maintain flexibility 
  • Leading large teams and empowering those team members to be successful

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Washington and New York State compensation is $150,000 - $220,000 with eligible bonus opportunity. Please note, this is a general guideline and your experience qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
