Premise Health Registered Nurse roles are quite unlike any other. Our nurses deliver the right care at the right time where patients work at onsite and nearsite health centers. A Premise Health RN can work in a primary, acute, or occupational health center in collaboration with other members of the health team. Premise offers a variety of roles including primary care or occupational health registered nurse, RN health center manager and supervisor, RN case manager, RN health risk condition management and RN wellness coach.

We have an opportunity for On-Call Fitness Staff ( PRN)to join our team in providing an unparalleled experience at our employer based Fitness Centerlocated in Hopkinton, MA!

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday

Mornings:  5:30AM to 12:00PM or

Afternoons/evenings: 1:30PM to 8:00 PM

FridayMornings:  5:30AM to 11:00AM or

Afternoons/evenings:  1:30PM to 7:00PM

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Primary responsibilities will consist of providing on-call floor sub coverage for staff taking planned and unplanned PTO, consistent with Premise Health guidelines and quality standards.

There is also an opportunity to provide sub coverage for group exercise classes and to conduct personal training, depending on site needs and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform sub floor coverage:

  • in the event of an emergency/injury, provide CPR/AED and first aid response
  • greet members and answer general questions
  • provide guidance in performing exercises/using equipment
  • general floor upkeep/cleaning
  • other tasks that may be assigned by the site manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Personal Training certification from nationally recognized authority organization (e.g. ACSM, NASM, NSCA etc.) required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Current certification in CPR/AED (hands on program required) and First Aid required.
  • Group Fitness certification from nationally recognized authority (e.g. AFAA, ACE, IDEA) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position desired.
  • Experience in, and ability to perform fitness assessments including: resting and exercise blood pressure and heart rate, body circumferences, body composition using skin fold calipers, and muscular strength and endurance testing

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of exercise programming.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises to member.
  • Knowledge of safety and proper technique.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
