Premise Health is proud to partner with the University of Notre Dame to provide on-site healthcare to their employees and dependents. We are currently looking for a full-time Psychologist Manager to join the amazing team at our employer health center located in Notre Dame, IN!


This position comes with a $5,000 sign-on bonus!


Essential Functions:

  • Manages staff typically comprised of psychologist or Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health professionals.
  • Compiles input for the performance appraisal process for staff members.
  • Responsible for following appropriate processes for hiring, staff development, and performance management.
  • Interacts with clients to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
  • Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose mental health disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
  • Use a variety of treatment methods, such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behavior modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy.
  • Counsel individuals regarding problems, such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
  • In additional to individual counseling, this position may lead psychotherapy groups, seminars, and provide couples and/or family sessions, when appropriate to the site contract.
  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals of all ages.
  • Discuss the treatment of problems with clients.
  • Supervisory duties may include, but are not limited to, co-signing Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health professional’s charts that contain a diagnosis of a mental health disorder, provide consultation services, and/or chart reviews.
  • May be asked to volunteer for growth opportunities within the Behavioral Health line of service for Premise Health in order to advance the training, strategies, and/or education of new or existing team members.
  • May require other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology required.
  • Requires an advanced degree and a license to practice clinical psychology.
  • Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 2-4 years of experience required.
  • Must have prior experience in the field of treatment of mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, in adults and children
  • Must have prior training and experience in clinical supervision.


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
